Last Day

Finally, today was mommy's last day of school. Since it was only the 2 hour teacher day we got to have a great day together. Mommy came to Aunt Sabras today after school and I was asleep on Grandpa Filler's lap. We all decided to head to Carlos o Kelly's together for lunch. After that Lynley and I both needed a little nap. I decided I would just nap in the car, so Mommy called Grandma Hale and we met her in Anderson and then headed to some new shopping mall in Fishers. It was pretty fancy. I sure love trying to grab at clothes and tags as I ride by in my stroller. When we got home Mommy said she had to clean house a little because we were having company for supper. Aunt Sabra, Uncle Paul, and Lynley came over for supper. The adults were sure happy about having sweet corn off the grill. Lynley and I were just fine with pieces of hot dog bun of the mommies plates. Daddy sure seems like a great griller. I can't wait to check out his food someday soon. After the grown ups were all done eating Lynley and I got to take a ride together in my bike trailer. Daddy rode us all around. I think he's going to be a little tired tonight from hauling around 40 pounds extra on his bike! Well I better get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow I get to go to my very first wedding.

B is for Boy

You'll see where I got the B is for Boy in my bath picture. In my case these last two days it really stands for Mommy's Boy. I cry whenever Daddy tries to hold me. I really made it hard for Mommy to get ready for church today too. I never want her to put me down ever. I have a good reason though. Yesterday I was fussy and Grandma said I was fussy this week, so mommy and daddy decided to take me to the Dr. again. You wouldn't believe it, but this was even a new lady dr. and she STILL had me lay down on the table and stuck those awful things in my ears again. What's really bad is I heard her say they are both still infected and then I heard Mommy tell her we will be there Thursday for my regular well baby check up. Are you kidding me??? At least Thursday it will be the fun Dr. Hughes. I've had about enough of those prime time drs. with their ear thingies.

Today I wasn't feeling too well at church either. Mommy had to come rescue me in the nursery and we tried to sit in church and it just wasn't working so we left. This evening the Hensley family had a cookout at Cousin Diana's. Everyone really wanted to hold me and play with me, but as soon as I thought about it I realized I couldn't leave Mommy.

Oh my goodness, I almost forgot the most important update of all. My parents had been talking about how they need to get in shape and I found an excellent way. Daddy gets a little extra weight added to his bike for bike rides now. On our first bike ride Mommy lagged behind, but she was warmed up for our second one. We're gonna have to work up to taking longer bike rides they said, but I'm ready. I love to ride and look around, but don't like it when the bike stops. Keep me moving please, things to do places to go, and things to investigate. That's my motto!!

Busy, Busy School Day

Today was a very special day. Daddy was off work so we went and did some visiting. First I got a good nap in and then Daddy and I went to see Mommy at her school. She was so excited to see me and I loved seeing her too. She's got some crazy kids in that class, but I sure liked watching them. After Mommy's lunch we had to go. After we left Robinson we headed over to Valley Grove. We went to Grandma Hale's class, but couldn't find her for a while. We found her class in the computer lab. I put on a show and jabbered up a storm for her fourth graders. Grandma and the kids sure loved seeing me. They didn't get a lot done on their computers because I was waaaaay more entertaining. After Valley Grove I came home and took another nap before Mommy got home. Once she got home she said we were going out with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Bridget. We all headed over to Texas Roadhouse. I had a good time looking around. Everyone held me after my time limit in the highchair. I keep letting everyone know I don't like the highchairs in restaurants, but everytime we go somewhere to eat they make me sit in it again:( After eating it was off to Meijer. We had to stock up for our two cookouts this weekend. I'm not sure what a cookout is, but I heard Daddy saying something about me and Lynley playing in the pack and play outside at Granny's together and that sounds pretty good to me. Mommy can't wait to see us play together becuase she's not gotten to see the two of us together in a while. That's about to change really soon cause after next week she's free to play with us all summer long.

I discovered a new food today. Can you guess what it is?? CHEESE! I couldn't get enough of it. It tasted so good especially after Mommy tried to get me to eat an organic chicken and pasta baby food. I sure let her know what I thought of it, when I gagged and threw it up. I'm sure she had fun cleaning up my high chair. I don't think she'll be giving me more of that nasty stuff for a while:)

This morning we went to garage sales. Well Mommy did, Daddy stayed in the car with me because I slept through the whole thing. Then we went to walk around the Muncie Mall. I sure loved looking in the 3 way mirror at Macy's at myself. You can never get enough Levi!! Then we went and picked up cousin Lynley and Sabra and headed to Great Great Aunt Clata and Great Great Uncle Bob's 50th wedding anniversary party. It was a lot of fun. Once Lynley woke up we got to go play with my toys on the floor. After we left there I took another car nap and when we got home Mommy and Daddy took me on a walk. Mommy really really wants me to get used to wearing my sunglasses so I was a good boy and just sat back in the stroller and tolerated wearing them for her for the whole walk. After our walk we sat out on the front porch until I kept trying to put the maple tree seeds in my mouth. All in all it was a great Saturday.

Grandpa Hale brought me a new car last night. I love it. Tonight we got to take it out for a spin in the neighborhood. Watch out everyone, I'm driving!

It's been a long long time

I know it's been forever since I've written on my blog. I hope I haven't lost all my readers. I've been a busy, busy baby boy here lately. I've been on walks, shopping, a baby shower, and even had to go to the doctor. I had a double ear infection. Only kept me down for a few days though! Mommy and Grandma Hale sure loved me wanting to be held so much, but they sure didn't like me being sick. Oh, my Daddy now works normal people hours so our little family gets to spend every evening together now and I get to play with Grandma Filler more during the day. I'm so excited because pretty soon I keep hearing Mommy is going to be out of school for the summer and I can stay home with her everyday. I keep hearing numbers every evening and I think I heard today that she has 18 more days left with her second graders. I even got a new bathing suit and hear Lynley has one too, so we can spend time in the pool together this summer! I'll post a couple recent pictures for you and one in my new suit.
