Big Brother meets Little Brother

I have some great news. I just got to meet my new little brother for the first time. His name is Evan. He is so small. Mommy and daddy said that he is just about the same size I was when I was born. Now I get to start showing him all the fun things to get into. I can't wait until he is old enough that we can play outside together. I have been staying with Mamaw and Papaw Hale while mommy and daddy are with my baby brother. It's gonna be a lot different at home from now on. I won't able to run the house like I used to. Great-Great Aunt Clata bought Evan and I presents. He got some new clothes and I got a Cat-in-a-hat. This has been a busy week. I have played outside alot. I have even learned a couple of new words at Mamaw's house, potty and pee-pee. Well, I kow most of you would rather just see some pictures of us, so here they are.

Baby Brother Evan Coming Soon

Tomorrow night Mommy will go into the hospital to get started on getting Baby Evan here. I guess he's going to be a little stubborn on entering the world like I was too! Mommy and Daddy will head to the hospital tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. I will be heading to my Grandma and Grandpa Hale's house. I've already got a suitcase over there. It's been there since last week waiting on me. Mommy is worried about how I'm going to do spending the night away from home the first time, but I think she's more worried about what I'm going to do when I get to come to the hospital and see my new baby brother. She doesn't think I'm going to like it too much, but I may suprise her! Check back soon for new pictures of my brother! We are going to have to come up with a new name for the blog, but the address will stay the same.

Great News

Mommy was really feeling yucky at school today so she sat down tonight and counted up her sick days and she found out that Friday could be her last day of school!!! That means I will get to stay home with her starting next week all the way until August! Mommy is worried that I won't want to share her with my new baby brother Evan, but I think I will be ok. When Mommy asks me where the baby is I like giving baby Evan a kiss on Mommy's big belly. I might not want to give him kisses right away when I see how much attention he's going to get, but I think we'll be best buds pretty soon.

Spring Time Fun

Time Marches On

It's been so long since I've posted on here a whole month has almost blown by. I've had some real fun this month. First of all, I've discovered how fun it is to play outside. I don't even care what we're doing outside, don't you know EVERYTHING is better when you're outside. I've also decided that I'll throw full on, toddler, red faced, screaming, throw myself on the front porch fits, when it's time to go in. I've also had some other fun this month. We've been to Olive Garden a few times, I"m finding that's a great place to eat. We have got a lot of baby clothes out and put in drawers for some reason. Grandma and Grandpa Hale even got a crib at their house now and I broke it in Sunday with a 3 1/2 hour nap! I guess I get to spend a few nights there when Mommy is in the hospital to have the baby. I don't know I hear all this talk about baby stuff and I don't know quite what to make of it yet. We also got a new crib, but we are going to trade it for a better one tonight. Then we'll be all ready for my cousin Lynley to come over for a sleep over!! I think that's a GREAT idea! Oh, we had Lynley, Grandma, and Pa Filler over last Saturday for a cookout. After we ate Lynley and I got to go on a ride in our new double stroller and we got to play with my new bubble machine. Today I got more time with Lynley at Grannys. Mommy got to come this week because this is her Spring Break. I couldn't believe she was there with us. She figured out real quick how much Lynley and I love the donut holes that Aunt Ruth brings for us. We're bottomless pits when it comes to those things. This evening when Daddy gets home, it looks like we are going to get to go to the grocery store, to exchange the crib, and probably get some dinner. I'll have to let you know how the rest of my week goes. Oh, and about 3 more weeks til baby Evan.

Blog Lapse

I am so sorry to my regular readers. I haven't been able to update you on the life and times of the Filler family in a long long time. Mommy has been busy finishing her last week of master's class, but that's not our excuse anymore because it was over on Wednesday!! YIPEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Now, we have to get ready for the new baby. In a few days we will be down to just 8 weeks until my baby brother makes his appearance. Because of that we've got tubs of baby clothes and some toys I haven't seen in a long long time in the livingroom. I've been enjoying checking out some of those new toys. Before long Mommy and Daddy say the swing and bouncy seat are going to be back out in the living room. I'm still not sure about being a big brother yet or what that even means, but Mommy says she has faith in me that I will figure it all out. It may just take me a little bit of time. Later on, I'll get some pictures of me posted. I know you've missed seeing my cute little face.
